Need a cheap C4 core, only for bolting to engine w/ starter

I need a cheap C4 core to bolt to a 302/5.0 in a car a buddy of mine has. He just needs it to bolt a starter to so he can start the engine. The car is a pretty nice looking (from pics I have seen) 79 notch, I dont have all the details yet, but I know he wants to sell the engine and the car as a roller, possibly together, possibly seperate. Going to look at it today. He says it has alot of good parts, but he is FOR SURE a chevy guy.....!!! I know it has welds, slicks, cage, etc..... I will report back with anything for sale.

Trans just needs to be able to be bolted to the engine with starter, to start the engine. I guess it doesnt matter if the trans is roached, as long as the engine can fire and it will stay in park..... Converter with it is a bonus I suppose, but I guess not all that necessarry?

dont need trans.

bellhousing, flexplate/flywheel and starter. maybe a strap to keep it off the firewall
 
i got one without a converter thats supposedly rebuilt... the fluids clean... ill let it go for like 25 bucks... give me a call. 734 353 2832. i'm in romulus. rob.
