NASCAR

Tony Stewart is one of those guys who can drive anything, anywhere, anytime. I loved when he would drive the Indy 500 and then immediately fly to Charlotte for the Coke 600. 1100 race miles in two completely different cars in 12 hours. Plus he hates Jeff Gordon. Tony's the man.

Tony is a good driver but he can be an ass sometimes. I would have liked to see a better battle for the lead regardless if JJ would have made the pass or not.

I was really happy to see Jeff Burton leading the chase a few weeks back, but now its over for him. I'm pulling for Harvick and Hamlin for the Cup. Then maybe Jr. and Johnson... in that order. No interest in seeing the robot (kenseth) win again.

I thought you love NASCAR?
Not since they dumbed it down for tv. It was better when it was on ESPN and needed to know a little about the sport to enjoy it.
Now they explain what loose and tight is every race, and that the Goodyears they use are different then the ones you have on your Fusion at home.:puke:

Watching an F1 race on network tv is the same thing. They try to explain everything to the lowest-common-denominator viewer and end up pissing off the people who really want to watch the race and hear some intelligent commentary.

I can't stand Buddy Baker. Does he still do commentary? He was an idiot behind the microphone.

I agree 100%. They really do explain the same basic shit every race. Remember ESPN speedworld with Jerry Punch?

I dont remember seeing Buddy Baker in along time. Did not like his commentary very much. I hate pretty much all of the Fox crew minus DW. I really really hate that Ken Squire from CBS, that guy was an idiot!!! But havent seen him in ahwile thank God.

I do like the Benny Parsons-Wally Dalenbach NBC combo though. Those guys are awesome.

After Paul Tracy's latest incident, racers will probably be forbidden from driving their own golf carts.

I hit the mute button when DW talks. He sold his soul to toyota and should be charged with treason.
