I noticed his helmet flew off, he has no padding around his head on the roll bar, and the safety crew had to fight to get through the crowd of people who are NOT safety crew. And the roof is held on with tack welds. Or I should say, was.

1987, and there arent many rules for those hillbillys in the countryside. I saw some hicks chicken wiring a number on top of the demo derby car they were about to race and the wire went right around where the drivers head would be *doh*

I talked to a guy who once ran the ASA circuit when it was still a big deal and he showed me a Mustang he put together for his firststreet stock race car when he was very young. He wanted it to be light so he used the tubing from the old swing set in his back yard for his roll cage.

I personally like the PVC pipping for roll bars.

If you set up the PVC correctly you could store your personal drink of choice in it.
