eh....not too shabby. hood looks like it's on steriods kinda like those oversized WS6 hoods. guess he had to make room somehow. still like my pushrod motor. :)

You guys should check out VT's n/a mod motor...

Video of an aborted pass:
www.vtengines.com/videos/stthomas2.WMV

Has gone 9.205 @ 146.30mph w/1.29 60'
1992 Mustang - 323ci DOHC Ford - All Motor - 5spd Clutchless

I believe they pull it to almost 10k. 9500 or something like that.

The thing I dig about it is that its different, but then I just saw Seans post so I'm not sure how different it is. All the same far from common and the car rips.

It's a damn shame that those pesky LSx motors run in the 8's N/A:icon_mrgr

I would watch your step...show me an lsx motor making 2.3 hp per cube there are not many if any at all...that's what VT's one makes and I'm sure that other guy is over 2 hp per cube as well...class rules usually give you weight based on cubes so an ls1 car might have to come in at 3500 with 450 inches with an auto while a mod motor could come it at say 2500 with a clutchless and tear it up...

BTW Sean,

I'm a Ford fan too........... I had a V8 ranger before you were an itch in your daddys pants:icon_mrgr

My wife drives a Stang that we bought From Mr. banner himself Trunkey.

that motor cost around 20k maybe more its dry sumped, ford gt blocked, iam sure it was cheaper cause he did it himself but, if you were to call and say i want that same motor, it would be a good 19-24k

Mod motors were in the 6's well before ls1's...and Mihovetz did it with stock casting heads as well and single power adder compared to w2w's nitrous + turbos.

And I'm a GM fan! But the facts are the facts.
