The mask started out as some metal that I've been using as a base for some of my pics(see underneath the old Ford)
So I cut it up a bit, and shaped it a bit. Still didn't look too scary.
So I banged it up some more. I didn't want it to look nice and finished, I wanted it to look like a some Leatherface-type was using his limited metal working skills to patch together a mask.
It's getting scarier.

and at this point I wanted to make it real, so I had just come back from dismembering a body in the basement...
My wife didn't know what I was doing, and I scared the bejeezus out of her just by asking her to come see something and holding it in front of my face :lol:
I'm glad I didn't go with my original plan, which was to wear the mask, grab an axe, and run into her office growling :roll:
