breaking up bad, very bad.. Couldnt go over a half throttle up top. And the converter in the thing is shot. So I have the new converter in tonite and I have colder plugs in tomarrow. Along with a charging current of 11 volts out of the alternator, I have a new one of them coming friday. I expect much better numbers soon. Hell, look at my 330 time up top, and that is still with it popping 1.2 seconds out..

So all in all, I think it was blowing out the spark, in addition to a slipping converter, we should be good for some better times next time.

Ordered a torque arm relocation bracket and Pro 5.0 shifter with Lou's Short Stick this week. Should be here by the weekend. Onto the car they will go and hopefully that trans tailshaft drip will be gone. And I won't miss 3rd gear at the track anymore. :lol:
 
Sorry, no new videos since the ones right after it was finished and the ones John got of me at Milan. I will have to try to get some more soon. Might have to put the old wheels/tires on the back and have some fun! Just gotta find somewhere to do it where I won't attract any unwanted attention. Ha ha.

where did you buy your ta bracket at? i have a body mount TA and i dont have the bracket. so it cant go on the car. lol

how much did it run you?

I got it from afterthoughtsauto.com (one of the LS1tech sponsors). The BMR stuff is all the same price from just about anywhere (unless you know someone). Rarely have I been able to get that stuff at much of a discount. I didn't get it on the car yet though as I need the energy suspension TA bushing to install the TA to the bracket. Hopefully that will be here mid week. Called EVERYWHERE Saturday and no stores around here had one. At least I got my Pro 5.0 installed. Feels pretty good. Just gotta get used to it now. Shifts are a lot crisper with that thing.

I just may have to do that Dave..... Hmmmm I may be out that way mid week for work..... But I think there was a chance of rain on Wed. We'll see. I will let you know.

jesus, i started reading this thread, i started skipping pages after about 16, and then i was like damn, does it ever end, lmao.... sweet ride..... great pics of steps....
