My new truck...

With oil predicted to hit $100/barrel and cash for clunkers coming to an end, I decided it was time to action....and bought a 1978 Ford F250.

Definetly a nice rig. My dad had a 79' F-100 when I was a kid. It was dark brown, and had a 300ci 6 4 speed. Cruising down the road one day (it was little mack to be precise) it just threw a rod through the oil pan. No high RPM, no oil shortage, nothing. Just random. He ended up rebuilding the motor and selling the truck!


That body style grows more and more on me everyday! Nice find!

Thanks for the compliments. I actually found her on the western side of the state near battle creek. It's only got 53,000 miles on it...I've been wanting a truck like this for awhile, glad I had the money ready when I came across it.
