My new ride. 91' Hatch

I've been a member here for awhile but don't post much. I was working on a 1949 ford with a 289/c4 for the last 5 years. I recently sold it and bought this. Couldn't pass up the deal. The guy had it on craigslist for a day without pics or half the things done to it listed. I was seriously getting ready to buy jhillas notch but I didn't have enough money, so this was perfect. I wanted a notch but the hatch is growing on me. Cars got tons of shit done to it. Needs a few things tweeked, but runs strong as is.

I'll probably change a few things and redo the interior this winter. Not sure on the wheels yet, but the staggered fit with the 315's in the back look badass.

I'll get some tommorow. It had some ebay racing seats in it, but I found a stock set of black seats and replaced them.

The dude I bought it from paid $7000 for it, put around $4000-5000 into it (suspension, wheels/tires, rear end, trim, interior, etc..).

Man, I am never that lucky on deals. What a beautiful ride. Keep the wheel/tire combo, it looks great!

I think it was a pretty decent deal. The paint isn't perfect, the interior needs some work, and the engine needs a few things, but it runs good and looks good enough for me. I went from having a bare metal non-running project to a running/driving car. I'm happy.

Damn, nice find! I'll be the first to admit that looks like a WAY better deal than my notch. Granted, my old car was completely turn-key and very solid.

Nice pick-up and hope to see it around town!

Thanks Joe! I really wanted your notch but couldn't justify taking out a loan for more money than I had. I wanted something to have fun with, without another payment. I'm glad to see your notch sold though.
This one has the 5 lug conversion, 13" cobra brakes upfront, all tubular control arms, frame ties welded in, 4.10 posi, competely rebuilt rear end with moser axles c-clip eliminators, new brakes, rebuilt shortblock, trick flow twisted wedge heads, trick flow upper and lower intake, powerdyne blower (6psi)w/fenderwell power pipe, E303 cam, MSD ignition, hypertech chip w/SC tune, Walbro pump, 24lb injectors, roller rockers, 70mm edelbrock TB, EGR delete, smog pump delete, BBK shorties, BBK x-pipe, flowmaster cat back, king cobra clutch, steeda tri-ax shifter, firewall adjustable clutch cable, billet clutch quadrant, all new springs/shocks.
The guy had the ad titled "SUpercharged mustang " just like that, no year in the title. Inside the ad he had half the things listed and no pics. I went and looked at it on a whim and was impressed. He lives in Texas and the car was at his Mom's house. I made him an offer and picked it up the car the next day.

Man I hate red cars but that is a nice score, congrats!! You decide to sell the 5 lug Pony R's I would be interested

Wow that thing looks clean! I think it looks good the way it sits, dont change the wheels. Maybe swap that PD out for a nice vortech kit, but thats all I would do! Nice ride!

I hate red cars too! The car used to be grey, like you can see in the engine bay. I think it looks good though, just not my first choice (or my first 5 choices).
