runs and drives pulled it out of a field ..... i put the tires on and blasted the wheels

Awesome.... Yep I agree just lower it and drive the piss out of it.
People try and duplicate that cool of a Patina!
 
its a 49 has 216.5 thriftmaster 6 cyl, 3 on the tree, sitting out side since 2001.... motor was frozen .. a little oil did the trick, runs great, pic of it on its way to its new home


and it has the original key and had a title

just lower the hell out of it.
This is my buddys 51 that is lowered quite a bit, still rides well

ive got a 51 Ford and i plan on Air Ride... and a big cube engine... or a mod motor... and something along the lines of a 18/20 inch wheels that look like the factory steelies with trim rings and moon hub caps...
 
That is a great find! So cool to hear that with a little finesse you got that thing to run. I love stuff like that... What you did to the wheels is cool, too. Already makes the truck look sweet.
 
Awesome truck! You going to hot rod it or keep it rat rod or fairly stock? Oh the options..... :lol:
