At 11mpg my avalanche just doesnt cut daily driver duty. Especially with a 50 mile per day drive.

got it for a grand with only 80k miles, 3.8l v6. has like no rust whatsoever, must have been a southern car or garage queen grandma driver. im gonna through my 5.0 i have sitting in the garage in there

IIRC it got around 22 mpg

yeah i just need to find myself a donor 92-93 tbird that with a 5.0 in it. i need motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, wiring harness, intake, etc. i found one for $300 on craigslist but the guy wont respond to emails.

'91 T-Birds/Cougars could be had with a 5.0 also

IIRC, the 94/95 Mustang 5.0 is almost the same setup

yeah 91 also.

only thing usable from the 94-95 stang is the intake from what i read. still need the tbird motor mounts, exhaust manifolds, and wiring harness. the steering shaft causes problems for the exhaust.

I like that body style, $1K is not bad either.

i doubt it. theres no signs whatsoever that would point to that. besides wouldnt a katrina car have rust?
