Motorwise yes this has a better fuel system, and weighs 3075. Makes 50 more rwhp on 4 less psi.

Trans had to go it has a faceplated tko 600 and everytime i shift sounds like a m80 going off.. Needs a nice lentech auto with a t break and overdrive

you're not shifting right them. i drove my faceplated trans almost daily

It's getting a pump gas methanol set up / tune. $7 a gallon for leaded 110 is nuts

double clutch or yank as fast as you can
dont coast to a light in N. leave it in gear until stopped.

it trapped 138 in the 100* heat he said it should go low 140's when it cools off.. its only on 18psi i think it will be a pretty snotty combo with a few more psi..

A few years back I face-plated 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in my TKO. I learned that by double clutching it I could drive the car without anyone knowing it was faceplated. It takes a little practice, but once you get the hang of it its not too bad. However, if you have the cash, buy a built 4R70 with a Lentech valvebody and t-brake and don't look back. You will love it and the car will be much quicker in the 1/4 mile.
