As I stated in the video description I know there is lots of room for me to improve my lap time via the driver mod and will do so but I am sure that wont stop the smart comments on here :P

First weekend of competition with the car in NASA's Time Trial Class A (Best lap time wins but lots of cars on track at once).

This is Mid-Ohio's "Club Course" meaning it has the chicane after turn 1.

I have lots of room to improve myself (the driver) and take some time out of the lap.

This weekend I was competing against a prepared Lotus Exige S240 and a prepared Porsche Cayman S.

The car was prepared by Rehagen Racing and I would like to thank my sponsor Ford Motor Company for allowing me the ability to go out and do this.

The second lap of this video was shaping up to be better than the first but the corner worker in turn 12 didn’t wave the caution flag for the Viper who spun and was in the middle of the racing line. I just wanted to not hit him in the driver door and ended up with an embarrassingly big tank slapper.

Overall, not too shabby. If it were me (in Forza of course :lol:), the one spot I probably would have tried to work on is that turn 1 apex. If you hit it a little later, it might have helped you pick up a little more time. That was the biggest thing that stood out to me. Nicely done, sir. :icon_smil



PS - did you ever do a posi? Sounded like the inside tire spun a couple of times...

the biggest fuck up is actually in the keyhole, i was trying to square off the corner and drivers with much more skill then me (Dean) are telling me there is no need do to the nature of that corner.

Right after madness I am not getting back to the left enough either
 
FYI: the splitter on my front fascia was not installed properly that’s why its flexing this has been fixed.

I used an HPDE session for shakedown on Saturday and its was soaking, a little sideways here!

Great post thanks for sharing. Do you they make you have a cage in your car for that type of racing? OMG she got a lil squirrley when that guy crashed in front of ya!!
