Hi.

4bbl 400/TH400. Stock + duals and rims/tires. Not original - has had some interior work done and was repainted at some point in its life. Had a new top installed two years ago, along with the roof frame getting bead-blasted and repainted. Getting close to 70k. Didn't even come out of storage this past season. Ditching the Cragars this coming season. Tires look too "balloony", so I'm considering 16's and maybe not chrome, either.

I was really leaning towards the Edelbrock 454's with the silver machined finish (not chrome) and the 3-bar knock-offs. I hear they're difficult to find since they were discintinued, but I never really got a fire under my ass to start looking for a set.

Very Different...... I like it and looks like a clean ride! Yeah I also am not sure what wheels would look best. Never been a fan of Cragar SS's (my Brother has them on his 69 Chevelle and wont change them out) but it does not look bad with them.... Bet that is one heavy car~

Hope to see it in person this season PP

+1 for a big cruiser! Sometimes factory rims looks good on an older car. Not sure which ones would looks good/fit.

Great looking car. Looks very clean. I agree on a bigger rim, not like a 20 but a nice 17"/18" would look killer

Waht bolt pattern is the car?

I believe its 5x5". Its been years since I've even touched the rims. The Cragars I have are those stupid slotted ones with the cam washer, which is another reason I want to get away from them. I was given the wrong washers in the beginning, but at least they warrantied the rims that got beat up as a result of it.

Welcome! And my vote is for 17" wheels. I put 17" American Racing Hopsters on the 78' T/A I used to have. Those looked really nice on the car. Those wheels have a more angular shape to them that might work on this car too. They were only 8" wide but I believe there were wider widths available too. I would have to look it up. It's been a while.
