I bought this in July for $600. I finally rented a second garage to store it in. I don't plan on doing a lot to it anytime soon other than collect parts, but I did spend $12 at the car wash last weekend. I had it at a friend's house and it was far dirtier than it was in those pics from July. Just the power from the sprayer removed most of the dirt and moss (or what ever the green stuff was on it). The first two pics are from the yard of the previous owner and the last four are from last week. Sooner or later this will be a drag car project.

That is the idea eventually. I want to run the car in F.A.S.T. (Factory Appearing, Stock Tire). This means low 11's on bias ply tires. The rules pretty much say that if you can't see it, it's fair game for modification. I got to keep those dog dish hub caps though...

wow, as much as i'd like to bust your chops with a dumb-ass pay-back comment, i'm unable to. that s.o.b. is bad-ass! what an awesome dare-to-be-different ride. make sure you post up some progress pics, or even some good before pics after you get it settled in! sweet find!!!!!

Other than the color, the finished car will look similar. I still don't understand why most of the R-series engined cars are brown...:punchball.

The engine I want to put in it looks like this...

A bone stock blueprinted version of this engine has put down 365RWHP on the chassis dyno. The drawback is that the heads are mmade out of unobtainium. Only around 130 complete engines built.
