My 2006 C6 Dipped~

The Z06X that GM built was done in matte/satin Pearl White...and looks awesome.

That looks like the same color as the z/28 they did that j-Leno test drove and talked about with the GM guy. That color was so sick but they don't offer it to public, Bastards!

sprayed 3 coats of gun metal grey over the original black and next 6 coats of white and then 3 coats of pearl.

In the video, the gm Oppenheimer guy says its a 40 Gloss Flat White. Looks sexy to me..

Not familiar with the "dip" process, this sprayed on correct then peeled off when your tired of it. What's something like that cost and do many places do it? Seems like the new age paint for people who want to switch it up now and then without the commitmemt and expense of paint. I like the pearl white!

I messed around with some of the ghost pearl powders today. I sprayed three of them (green, Blue and silver) over a black base coat (Left Side of the pick) and over a white base coat (Right side of the pic). I think I am leaning towards the blue pearl over white or silver pearl over white. The Camera didn't pick up the details of the white base coat but it has a nice ghost effect in the right light.

I might try laying them over gun metal grey first to see what that does for the color.

It doesnt attract dirt no different then reg paint once its cured. Easier to clean really. Power wash it and let it dry. I also bought dip wash that works really well for cleaning it as well.
