A buddy of mine wanted to see a pic of the gun so I thought I would share.
I'm a proud father :)

So my great-great uncle Dr. Charles Stahr was a Captain in the 111th ambulance company from Lancaster PA. during WWI.
He saw some action in France and brought it back. It has been handed down from there. Apparently the Stahr Armory in Lancaster was named after him. In 2009 the National Guard shut down the armory and now it is a performing arts center. :( Still is named the Stahr Center however. :)

I found a shitty looking steel locked tool box left behind in a old garage....people moved away and left it. I was 13-14. I finally got aroung to cutting the lock and it had a german lugar in it (loaded). My brother took it from me and sold it. God he was a dick.
You had to post this and remind me.

I had a chance to buy a pretty nice one for a good price years ago. I still kick myself for letting it get away. Now it's hard to find a decent one with matching numbers for less than $1500.
