I'm ready to jump off a bridge  :headscrat

Ok the car would crank fron the ign. so I hot jumped the car from the silenoid a few times trying to get the car started, figured out the msd box was bad swapped that out, car started for a few seconds but wouldn't stay running (figured fuel pump or inj. not firing)

Here's where the starter was making some slipping noises and finally wouldn't even turn over. So I swapped out the OEM starter for a new one that has a silenoid on the starter, the car won't turn over the starter the silenoid just clicks?

Here is the old & new starter, the old starter doesn't have a silenoid & the new one does, I ran a brand new 1gauge wire from the silenoid to the starter but do I need to run another wire to the little prong on the new starter?

yes, if the fender mounted solenoid is still there, just use a small wire and jump the big cable to the prong

if the solinoid was clicking try jumping it... battery might be going bad... ive had that a few times... all the lights and everything looks good but the amps arent there to crank it over

Thanks guys, I believe it was a combo of both. I did the wire thing Dave mentioned and it started to crank but the battery wasn't strong enough to push it over. Thanks for the help

Now I need to see if my injectors are firing or my fuel pump is bad
