Mustang Fuel hoses

I could use some help here, I am converting an 87 mustang from a 4 cyl to 8 cyl, when the old motor was removed the Fuel hoses that connect the steel fuel lines to the fuel rail were cut. now that I am about to put the motor in the car I am having trouble finding replacement hoses. I prefer to use factory hoses, but can't find anything anywhere. I don't want to buy an aftermarket kit that includes the lines (building on a budget). what have others done? are they easy to make out of rubber fuel line hose and just connect the proper ends? I could really use some advice here my project is on hold because of this.

No one? Come on Motown. I know someone knows where I can find some, or at least point me in the right direction.

AMP performance in Arizona has performance parts & a lot of old NIB parts. They had a fuel rail for my 97 cobra! I think they have a junk yard on site.
Good luck!

If they are the ones I am thinking of, they were crimped to the steel lines that run to the back of the car, correct? Right now you just have the male spring-lock ends of the connector line to the rail hanging down the right front of the block, correct?
I bought all new pre-bent fuel lines for mine, and they came with the engine-end flex hoses crimped in place. I wanted to make a jumper. So I was able to buy the male ends from one of the big-box parts stores. It was a 5/16 barb on one side, and either of the 2 sizes of spring-lock on the other.
MAYBE they sell the female side??? Then you could rig something with double barbs and clamps??
