What are some pros and cons on these heads?

What can be done to get more power/strength from them?

How much power are they good to?

In stock form what can they rev to safely?

The best thing you can do to get power from them is...Take them off, and put something else on. AFR 165 or soemthin equivalant.

as far as I know you cant get much flow from them, even if you try to hog them out.
 
I cant afford those and im getting E7 heads to replace my old garb 289 heads. This is all i can use for a while.

Pros- They allow the engine to run and get you off the car lot.

Cons- Everything else. With the market flooded with used and new heads I would just go with an aluminum set.
 
they are stock heads on 5.0 Mustangs 87-up. they can be worked to get more power but basically its a waste of money. With the money you would have to put into them to make them flow ok you could find a set of used aluminums for around 500-600 bucks. I have a friend selling some World Product Windsor jrs for 200, That would be a nice upgrade.
