mustang 4 cylinder to v8 swap

hey guys i was thinking about picking up a 81 v6 muystang and putting in a v8 has anyone ever done a project like this if so could you throw some advice my way thanks alot
 
find a wrecked or rotted V8 donor car....You will need things such as K-Member from the V8 car...Brakes....And if you plan on going EFI you will need the harness and related parts
 
You will also want to change to an 8.8 rear end because the 7.5 wont hold up when you start to make good power. I seen guys perform the swap and leave out this step only to have to go back and try to find an 8.8 to replace it with. also do something with the torq boxes because most 4 and 6 cylinder cars have excelent torq boxes. they are not all jacked up like most v-8 from racing. all in all find a cheap donor v-8 and swap out the whole drive train not just the motor and trans like a lot of people do.
 
Depending on the condition of the car, you might check out Detroit Style Dragger's post for his 4 banger for sale....I've seen it, and while its not perfect, its not in bad shape either.
It's gonna need a lot of parts swapping to get it going and be done right either way you go....
