Muffler Shop in clinton Twp area?

Anyone know of a shop in the Clinton Twp or surrounding area that does good work at a reasonable price. I have two mufflers that need to be welded in?
Shop number would be good too :cheers:
 
x2. I haven't personally had anything done by them, but I've heard great things and have referred people to them before. Those people came back and were very happy.
 
It sucks. Over the the years i have had 15 or so rides go though them, even some custom stuff , but this last time i was not happy. Now i have to take it to diamond and have it fixed..... Which is where i was going to go, but was in a rush to get it done..A dumb move on my part that will not happen again.

i went there to have muffs put on, from the x pipe back. They welded EVERYTHING!! Now if i have to drop the trans, i have to cut it out...:punchball
 
I've had Greg at Great Lakes Customs (Mt Clemens) bend two systems for me. Great service and a good price :D

Doug Jr. and his dad are old friends of mine. As was already said if you want an "exhaust shop" vs. a "custom exhaust/fabrication shop" and want it on a budget Doug's does very good work at honest prices. I've had Doug Jr. do a lot of systems for me over the years. If you're very specific on what you want he will do it for you the way you want it. If you just tell them "hey put this on" you get what most other people get, a welded on system thats not usually messed with in its' lifetime by non-car people.
 
I get what everyone is saying, nor am i talking shit about them either, as i also said the same things. But like i also said, when i tell you Everything! its not and understatement.

Its no big deal I'm not saying don't go there. i am only talking about my last experience with them was not the greatest. One out of 16 cars
 
i work at the autozone next to dougs muffler and i know the guys there pretty decent ... they all do a good job and don't bullshit on parts... theyre awesome on price to ... i got an exhaust system from manifold back with muffs and tips on the vette fro $400 installed... i send everyone there... just ask for doug jr to do your work... or Joe

Dougs all the way! Ive been going to him for almost 13 years now...and not one disappointment. Me and Bubba have been dealing with Jr and Sr for quite a long time. I'll go and see them for just a standard exhaust system...if Im in need some something performance related I go see Diamond.
