I picked up some used OEM 17" wheels and had Keith "Ice Nine" them.

Picked them up yesterday and went up to Belle Tire. Ryan hooked me up with some Michelin Latitude X-Ice tires for the winter season. The wheel ended up hitting the lower ball joint rod(I've got drop spindles), so they cut the rod at the nut. I cleaned it up and put some castle nuts/cotter pins this afternoon, and it looks like it's gonna work fine. Everything is made for big wheels these days

I'm actually digging the 17s a lot. I may go with something similar year round.

I want to, I was planning to, but these things don't hook at all

After shaving down the ball joint rod Matt and I took it for a test drive....pretty sure oncoming traffic wasn't thrilled about a 5k# truck going sideways coming at them :D

The DRs I want wouldn't fit on these wheels, I was planning on mounting those for a weekend to get a number. I'd like to see what it will do, but I'm working 80+ hours a week and don't have time to run down wheels + tires.

If anyone has decent 28"-32" tires mounted to a set of 17s that would fit on the truck, let me know. I'd like to go for a low 13 before Lapeer closes.

The truck was fun before, but I think I'm sold on lightweight 17s. The 20s pry look a bit better, but I'm not sure it "outweighs" the fun factor of the 17s.
