do you need a tune to bypass the factory rev limiter even if you have a msd box installed, i was messing around an put the 3,000 rpm chip in and it only rev to 3,000 rpm but when the 6500 chip was put in the car would rev to about 6200 factory rev limit right am i missing anything

yea you have to get a chip done for it to remove the factory limit.

I set my 6al just below factory until I could get a chip. Factory rev limiter pulls out fuel = bad msd pulls out timing= much better.
