My brothers band is in a competition on the local radio station Q106 and they have been doing battle of the bands. Last week they came in 2nd place at the show in the scoring which was based on crowd votes, judges, and ticket sales. They have only been doing shows for a year locally so their fan base isn't as high as the others that showed up --- but they outscored everyone else with the judges and crowd ballots. They came in a very close 2nd place due to the ticket sales the winning band produced.
There is a second chance to get in to the finals and that is with the wild card vote --- do me a favor and help get them in! My brother is a HELL of a drummer. If you like metal you'd like their band.
