Motorcycle dyno shops?

What kind of tune are you looking for?....Do you have a Power Commander?....If so i would suggest Stevensons Cycle in Wayne....I personlly used to work there as a mechanic and Steve the owner is a genius with the Power Commander and the maps.....If you have anymore questions let me know...BTW i ride a 2000 Custom Painted And built Night Train

Ive just been reading about the shitty jobs these harley dealers do on a "remap" with bikes still being wayyy to lean and unsafe. I am looking for a safe tune with making sure the air/fuel and stuff is done right along with making a few extra horse.

Are the power commanders good?

post some pics of that nightrain!!! i love those bikes!

the power commander is a must have for an Injected bike....And i would put my reputation on Steve's maps....I'm telling you he's a Genius at remapping......i'll try and find some pics...Got some of the paint before it went on the bike

Heres a few....First is with my daughter With drag bars (and me really scruffy)second is last spring with new handle bars (and me a little scruffy) and the third is just a blurry pic of my rear fender....All house of color paint..(if you notice in the first pic i am wearing a stevensons cycle shirt LoL)

What club are you in if you dont mind me asking?

D&B Cycle on groesbeck is right next door to my shop, and I walk over often when they are running the dyno. Ive literally watched them dyno hundreds of bikes and retune the efi. The bottom line is this. Tune gives very little hp gain. Its the pipes and air intake that give the largest HP gain, and obviously you need to reprogram the efi after you install those items. Unsure of their pricing, but after watching them work, epically on the dyno, I would not hesitate to take my own bike to them. The owner Buck tells it like it is.
I have not seen the supercharged twin engine bagger they built that was in autorama this year run on the dyno yet. thing is a monster.

well i can help you out a little here....If you are wanting a little sound and a little more power....Screamin Eagle makes kits that include and Air cleaner kit and a certain set of screamin eagle mufflers...I am unsure if they sell the air cleaner kit with the flash chip for a sportster....but i know they do for a dresser...that way when you upgrade the pipes and the air cleaner...they will be able to re-flash your ECM......Now personally i would spend the money on the power commander....i have alot of experience with these as i used to help run the dyno at stevensons......They are well worth the money.....I've worked on Harley's for 9 years at dealerships and aftermarket shops such as Stevensons and have seen everything from the flash chips to the power commanders....there are other products made by twin tec and such....but by far the best product for EFI bikes and to tune them is the power commander.......BTW Stever Broyles ( The Owner ) has been working on Harley's since 69 i do beleive....He's a guru with everything from panheads to TC88's....He's built Motors for bikes on Biker Build Off and has won many awards for his engineering.....This is not an advertisment because i no longer work for him....Just know his expertise.....Check out his site....It will show you some of his knowledge.....Sorry for being so long winded

thanks for the info.

I put Rush pipes on and i plan on getting the screamin eagle heavy breather. The dealerships can flash the ECM they tell me for $150. But i still keep hearing about how lean they always are and unsafe. I just want it done and tuned right ya know. If the tuner uses the power commander then i should buy one when i am ready to get it dyno tuned.
