Motor City Hot Rod Expo

Ya I was kinda disappointed too. Never been there before and thought it could of been better. But for $10 I'm not bitching. Nice afternoon out of the house

Certainly not as big as most of the shows there but all in all it was pretty good. Maybe it will be bigger next year. Certainly enough there to keep any car guy/girl busy for a couple hours, especially if you have a project going. I spent way to much time looking at the lift and trying to convince my self I need one. Same with the sleazy girl booth. Tried to convince myself I needed one of them too.

With the two other shows going on, Pool and Spa and Mary Kay, the parking lot was packed but still an OK afternoon.
 
It was worth the trip. Picked up some good info for some planned upgrades. And some un-planned ones!
Ran into a bunch of guys from "back in the day".
I left around 12:30 -1 o'clock and it was getting crowded!

So did you get a number at least? Lol she can do things that lift can't do...
 
That was much smaller than I expected, not bad though.

Nice meeting you Greg (oldbutnew), and thanks to you and all who were involved in getting the dumps to me down there.
 
What was up with the whore booth? All I saw was the names of the girs on those banners. Was it a titty bar advertisement?

Truthfully, they really werent that nice looking, just some girls in clothes to small for them. Wasnt like I looked at tham and was like DAMMMM, the one girl if you have to squeeze your tits together in that small of a top you are trying to hard to make them look bigger then they are. Could have seen better looking broads at the titty bar, LOL
 
I missed the show, but this is the first year for it. Hopefully it was a success so it can grow for next year. I'm friends with one of the guys that put it on, I'm waiting on a response to see what they thought of the turn out.

It was packed when I went saturday morning around 11

NO IDEA why those girls were there or what they were promoting. I agree that they were definitely NOT all that. Going to a ta-ta bar is not required! You could walk through the mall across the street on any given evening and find better looking women. That booth was pretty much empty when I walked by, if that tells you anything. I can say this: There were enough rolls on one of them to get Bob Evans excited. The other 2 were just girls with too much make-up in hardly any clothes.
 
Talked to Dave and he said it was a success and the vendors were happy. I'm sure next year will be bigger and better. Maybe a new PRI type event right here in MI.
 
It was smaller then I anticipated but I thought it was good.

For only being the first year it will get bigger.
Agree on the "chick booth" very interesting

Will def go again next year
