Moser 28 splines worth it?

need to upgrade my axles in my 8.8 and was wondering if picking up some moser 28 spline axles is even worth it.Everyone is saying to just go 31 or 33. Im just poor and dont want to upgrade everything lol
 
If your 5 lug you can use two left range axles and the limited slip carrier out of it, it's a 5 lug 31 spline set up for really cheap. A couple of my friends ran that in true street on buget cars and went low 1.4 60's and never had a problem.

Someone correct me if im wrong on the left side axles i think its right but might not
 
keep a eye out you will find a deal on them, but the biggest thing is the c-clip elimns, that way the axle wont fall out... i ran 31s for along time but they were strange ones and i now have some 33s just because i got a good deal on em and i actually sold my 31s on ebay for more than what i paid for my 33s...

especially being 4 lug, youll be able to find some if you pay attention to the sites...everybody switches for 5 lug so youll be able to find some pretty easy...

pm greenmustangcobratim he used to be able to get 31spline diff pretty cheap, i dont know if he can get em anymore though...

Ranger/Bronco II driver side axles or Aerostar pass side axles
