The National Weather Service In Detroit/Pontiac Has Issued A Winter Storm Warning...Which Is In Effect From 10 PM This Evening To 10 AM EST Wednesday.

A Mix Of Snow...Sleet And Freezing Rain Will Develop Late This Evening And Continue Into Late Wednesday Morning. The Precipitation Will Be Heavy At Times...Particularly Overnight Tonight. Storm Total Snowfall Accumulations Ending Late Wednesday Morning Will Range From 4 To 8 Inches...With The Heaviest Amounts Expected North Of M 59. Icing Accumulations Up To A Tenth Of An Inch Are Also Possible...Especially South Of M 59.

A Winter Storm Warning Means Significant Amounts Of Snow... Sleet...And Ice Are Expected Or Occurring. Strong Winds Are Also Possible. This Will Make Travel Very Hazardous Or Impossible.
