I was planning on doing you project today, but it didn't happen. It's next on the list. If you've got a certain day that works best for grabbing it, let me know and I'll be sure to have it done.

Haha, im pretty much aslways booked up, Much like you by the sounds of it! No real set date that I need it or anything. Just let me know when its done and well work a day out from there.
 
A gentleman contacted me a while back about doing some nuts/bolts buckles for him in quantity, ones that he can sell with his belts. He gave me a sketch, and I did a "prototype" a while ago.

He got it and liked it, and he decided on a few tweaks. So this is the tweaked version I did today:

So I was in Suburban Bolt today to get the pieces I needed to make 10 of them. The didn't have the bolts I needed, so I asked if they had stainless threaded rod. I told him I'd just weld nuts to the end.

Him : "um, I don't think you can weld stainless."

Me : (pause) "Are you kidding me?"

Him: (not realizing I was being sarcastic) "no, I don't know for sure, but I don't think you can weld stainless."

Me: "I'm pretty sure you can."

Hahaha, nice. Hey i was just on the phone with ryan (cdz28) he said he wanted you to go ahead and make that buckle so i can pick it up at the same time.
