is the alternater bracket for 302 or 351

The march bracket should work for either 302 or 351.

As for the bracket that's on the alt, that ran on a 302/efi but I think it just bolts to the head so it'll probably work for either as well.

Remind me on what needs to be done to switch shitty alternator on 87-93 to 3g alternator?

I've already fixed the bracket, so basically you have to take the square connector, cut the two heavy wires and put a lug on them and then take the white wire, put a terminal on it, and plug it into the 3G.

Pretty damn simple.
