Finally my low coolant light is coming on from time to time like on off on off yadda yadda coolant only seems a tad bit lower then it was the last time I filled it. Any Ideas ??? Sensor, Thermostat???

Well, lets start with the basics. Its lower then the last time you filled it, did you fill it up? How low is it? When did you fill it? Did you just put water in or antifreeze? i believe(and might noe be right) but isnt the sensor in the overfill bottle. is the level below the sensor?

So absolute retarted question after a long stressful im pissed off at the world day

do i fill it when its hot or cold wow i just asked that ................

Fill it hot. is this a 4v or 2v motor ? Could be some air trapped in the cooling system.

if there is a bleeder you should open it with motor off, and slowly pour water in it, close it and start the car. do that a couple of times and you should be good. there is no way to put coolant in a honda s2k with out opening the tap.

Probably needs to be "Burped" there are good threads about this on Modularfords.com. Easiest way is to have the front of the car on ramps. Fill car at the crossover tube................ +1 on the bad sensor, but probably just air in the system.........

New thermostat is being a bit lame

Should I just pull it and run coolant straight through the waterneck??????????

mod motors=lame sauce

You not knowing what your doing = lame sauce.

When you fill the system remove the plug from the crossover tube and fill from there.....make sure to leave the cap on the expansion tank or all the fluid will just go into there and eventually spill over.

Another thing to mention I looked in my overflow tank and there is really no movement of the fluid once the thermostat opens up???

Waterpump??????????
Heatercore???????

No big deal. Mine never moves either but everything works fine.

Do you have heat - if yes and nothing under dash leaks then it is fine.
Does the car overheat - if no and pump does not leak then waterpump is fine.
