I know a lot of you guys know Jeff, and may know of his situation, but we lost him to cancer early this morning. Rest is peace buddy. We'll miss you.

Jeff, rest in peace my good friend and I will post funeral arrangements once I have them. Godspeed Jeff

RIP Jeff :( We sure lost "one of the good ones" today. My condolences go out to all friends and family.

I've never heard anyone say a bad word about him. People who know him well always tell me how he is off the charts smart, get him talking about air flow and he'd quickly be over your head with the conversation.

He was doing really well and then he started to get sick again so he went the hospital. When they tried to treat him they found tumors all over him. Today is just such a sad day. I just lost my father in April and he was 90 years old and Jeff just turned 40 a few months ago and I have to say my father lived a good long life. Jeff was so young and such a good guy. He did so much for so many people. Truly unforgettable if you have ever had a chance to meet and talk to him.

I didn't know him but reading the kind words about him make me wish I did. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his Family and Friends.

RIP Jeff :-( such a short life and a truely talented guy. He treated everyone the same no matter if you were a big name or a nobody

I agree ..i have dealt with a lot of shops ..he set the bar in my opinion..very talented head guy and even a better person..God speed Jeff ..we will all miss you..

RIP Jeff .
I spent a lot of time hanging out with him when I worked at APE. We would shoot the shit until 11 or so and then sometimes go get a bite to eat.To say he was off the charts smart is about as accurate as you could describe him. He wouldn't brag about what he could do with a cylinder head unless you really pushed/teased him. I grabbed a copy of the NHRA race pages and flipped to the class with all the hemis in it. I asked him which ones were running his heads. He glanced and said " nine of those ten names, but I'm not saying which ones ". He changed the face of stock/ super stock style racing and I hope someday he gets the credit he is due.
Please let us know any arrangements.

The Funeral will be at Wujec Calcaterra Funeral Home, Schoenherr Road Sterling Heights MI on Thursday 3 pm to 9 pm and Friday 9 am . mass 9:30 am St. Rene Catholic Church am with luncheon to follow

We lost a few good people. Mike Hallas also passed away this past weekend, a true big loss in the Diesel performance world!

RIP Jeff. We will miss one of the great ones. Jeff worked on my cylinder heads couple of years ago and a straight shooter, no bs'ing me with the work or when it came time to pay the bill, unlike some shops I have dealt with.

I'm going to miss Jeff, I've known him for a long time I remember when I first started talking to him when he worked out of Henry B's garage before Modern Cyl. Head. I learned alot from him on airflow and how it works. You will be missed...R.I.P.
