Anyone know what Gumby (Last car you have pictured) ran??....He's one helluva good guy...

No...I am really a dick head....ask around...

Tried some new stuff Friday night that didn't work that well. We went a couple 7.2's Friday night. We stayed up until about 2am working on the car Friday and started trying a different setup Saturday morning.

Spun hard on the first run Saturday (last qualifier). Then I changed a few things for first round eliminations and hoped it worked.

We ran 7.2 in the first round. I had a .009 light and the car went 1.16 60'. I was lucky to get aorund Neal. I made a small adjustement for second round against AJ. We went 7.18 (another 1.16 60' time), our best run to date. My reaction was .026. We were going to the final in our first race out in over a year!!!

I left the thing alone for the final. There was NO WAY I was going to beat Murillo if he ran well. I was trying not to throw it away. The car ran 1.16 to the 60' again. It started to tire shake so I short shifted it to settle things down. This caused the car to slow to a 7.3.

We had a great weekend and I think there's a little more in it. I am just pissed that EVERYBODY was drooling on Steve's car (QuickLX) all weekend. Nobody even noticed my junk when his car was in our pit.

You were just a few feet away from me taking those pics of the Ford "project" vehicles. I was set up for the swapmeet.
