I'm no Josh (by any means) but I managed to stick two pieces of aluminum together. Usually I wind up with a pile of melted aluminum. It doesn't help that my tig is the oldest working tig welder in the country. The Smithsonian found out I had it and wanted it. It's an old Lincoln made in from 1959. It's kinda finicky, but the more I use it the smoother the arc gets. If I let it sit for too long unused it runs like shit. I figure once I get good with this machine I'll be a pro once I buy a new Synchrowave.
