Mechanical fuel pump, TBI injection??

Is it possible? A co-worker came to me with this. I've never had to deal with an issue such as this. He drove it for three days let it sit for the weekend and hasn't stayed running since. It fires up for a second but that's it. I told him the scrap yard is down the road. He wants it running. Suggestions??

performance aftermarket one will

93 caddilac fleetwood, pump on the block, dont know what the engine come out of, install looks decent, just seems to not be enough fuel pressure to keep it running, pump is not high performance. If a high performance one would work that would be the easiest fix. And where to get one?
