Hey, I have a wheel lock stuck on my car, and I have already broken 2 keys. I am using a breaker bar, no Impact, and trying to work it as easy as I can. The shitty thing is they are Cobra R rims, so the lugs are inside the wheel and I guess none of the bolt extractors are small enough to fit in the holes. Any suggestions?
 
pound an impact socket on the lock and remove it with a breaker bar.

once you remove it take a picture of the inside hub for me.... because i need one (if they are OEM cobra R's). thanks!
 
The imapact socket maybe to large to get in the cobra R holes if so just pound any half inch socket on there! I have had this problem many times; guys bring their cars and forget or lose the key's to the wheel locks
 
I think they are knock offs, since they weigh a ton, but I'll take a pic anyway. I'll give that a try right now, thanks
 
well my long 3/4 socket is missing, so I'll have to find one or try it at my dad's this weekend. I hate these rims lol.
 
make sure to pound them with some form of dead blow! Dont ask me how you slip and pound a chrome wheel with a f'in hammer but I did once! lmao I know I am a idiot! :btchfight
 
well if you don't wanna worry about hitting the wheel; put a old socket on a ratchet and pound the ratchet gives you a bigger target!

Next don't mess with mcard or any wheel locks.. What I run on all my cars and sell with wheels is tuner spline lugs
 
sounds good, yeah these were on it when I bought the car, so I went to take them off and here I am, 1 wheel left and the piece o' shit snaps.
 
Drill out the wheel lock. Its a big pita but its the best way to get it off. Drill it the size of the stud and go through the stuff when you drill. Then replace the stud. It beat the alternatives.
 
I just had some one tell me to do that (drill it) They said to drill the middle out, then try to hit it with a air chissle to crack the lug in half, sounds kinda scary to me since it would be tough to hold that air hammer in there straight.
 
Try your local Belle Tire we are preety talented when it comes to removing the locks. NO GUARNTEE THOUGH
