Manual Valve Body

Im looking to put a reverse manual valve body and ratchet shifter on my 95 trans am (700r4 Trans) anyone know what all i need to do this and if theres a local shop or something who would be able to do this.

Although they make a manual reverse v body for the 700, I'm not sure I would ever reccomend one. The transmission is required to have high line pressure all the time, causing a increase in operating temperature and premature pump wear/failure. The 1-2 shift happens so fast in in a 700 with any performance gear ratio its hard to control accurate shift timing.
Accidentally take off in 3 or 4 wot with any high hp engine and it will not hold, resulting in glazed 3-4 friction or 2-4 band.
My opinion, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.

im not 100% sure what you mean, i dont think ill ever take off in 3rd or 4th at wot

he means 700r4s suck
there not worth putting the money into

That's not necessarily what I'm trying to say, 700's work, they just take a little massaging and they have limitations with weight & hp. The rev v body on a 700 is just not something I would ever recommend because of driveability and the reasons I listed.
When I was 16-19 my dd was a 68 roadrunner with a rev pattern manual v-body, and to say you wont ever forget to downshift @ a light back into low gear, lets just say it happens, let alone letting someone else drive you car to the corner and doesn't know how it works. It doesnt hurt a 727, but it frys a 700.
