In the midst of an intense week in SoCal, at our dinner last night at the Petersen Automotive museum, myself and Les Davidson who runs the big Pismo beach show out here got some work done. A friend of mine who owns a lithography business printed a few giclees of Camilo Pardo's art, and Carroll Shelby came down to the museum to sign the stuff. Say what you will about Carroll, but he didn't ask for a dime, and when we asked if he'd like us to split our charitable cause and his, he said the Vets needed it more.

We set out tonight to have a party, and by the end of the night after less than an hour of auctioning, we had sold $41,000 for the the Loma Linda vets charity. Add in what Les raised at his Pismo Beach show and that totals $131,000 sold for returning combat Vets in need. I'm coming back to California in October so we can present the check to our boys.
