Can someone tell me a few good machine shops around the Dearborn area. I pulled my pan down today and found that I spun a rod bearing and actually it was cracked in half at the oil hole. So basicly I need to do a complete rebuild on the motor, get the crank and the rods turned and the cylinders honed. I would like it to be close to Dearborn, but will drive for good work.

2 questions, what quality level of work? and what kind of turn-around time do you need?

THis is for my Daily driver, the engine is a 3.2l DOHC SHO motor. Turn around time would be about a week as I need the car for work.

Just get a used engine. It'll br faster cheaper and you can get them warrantied.

that said, I have had good luck with Gregs Cylinder Heads and Engines, in riverview
