What's the closest place to Dearborn Heights that can bore a block? Will Holbrook do just a basic bore and hone? Nothing fancy needed for this one. Thompson moved. I don't trust Livernois. There used to be a Gonzales on Van Born - is he still open?

I've had holbrook do bore/hone/deck and crank polish. Prices were ok, work was great.

Hey guys thanks for all the leads. As far as Livernois, they are fine to buy parts from, I still do that. I know they sponsor here, so I don't want to be sounding like a bitch...but I had a bad experience with a rear axle build. I got the feeling that it wasn't the place to go for small jobs. I got the feeling that since it wasn't a $50,000 car getting $15,000 in mods that the guys out back doing the work did not take it seriously. So, I don't trust them to cover the basic things on little jobs. Just one man's opinion...
