who does good engine machine work on the eastside. i have been putting together motors for a lot of years now, and got fuck over by a lot of shops. who does good work on the eastside?

Joe, Dynamic Speed has done my Dad's motor's for years, and has never once had any problems!!!! also did the sbc you had in the white car!!!
 
I think Best does great work, but they sure aren't in a hurry to do it.

I have a shop up north that rules, but they're not east side at all. If you decide you wouldn't mind taking the drive to work with them, let me know.
 
i know 2 cars that run in the same class, and one engine was machined by best machine, and the other has lots more cash poured into it was machined by automotive machine, im not at liberty to say more details than this, but the best machine engine has been together for 3 years, turns more rpm, made 20 less hp with at least 2 points less compression, and has way less money spent on it. not bagging either shop, but i'll go with best machine based on the ability to get great packages together that last.

I would avoid Angilucci...Impostato is the best on eastside, granted a little expensive, but you get what you pay for..
 
I get nearly all my work done from Automotive Machine, and they have never done me wrong. Heard many good things about Best by numerous sources, but haven't had anything done by them. Impastato does some excellent work, but is kinda expensive. Vince is very meticulous (you can eat off his shop floor). I'm going to have some lifter bore work done by Industrial Boring (Warren) though, probably later this week. I've heard good things about Lukovich also.
 
I'm gonna put in another vote for Automotive Machine, in Fraser.

Jack has been doing the machine work on my stuff for years and i have never been jerked around, he is a stand up guy and knows his shit!
