LT1 tuning

LT1 Edit and Tunercat were the only LT1 systems out last time we looked into it. Tunercat was finally supposed to have something for the OBD-II LT1's but not sure if it ever materialized. I'd like to know what the hot setup is now too.

LT1 Edit and Tunercat will not work with the OBD II?
 
I called Tunercat and they said it wouldn't work with OBDII, cable or not. Frankly for the money, I'd rather have TC than the expensive LT1EDIT. I have one car and 2 computers and to be able to edit both with LT1EDIT you need close to $600 to get going and I'm poor.

That would be the OBDI stuff with the OBDII hardware.

I can do both all 3 versions of LT1 all using tunercat.
pre94 and older are chipped
94/95 are EEflash based using the OBDI sw and cable
96/97 are done using the OBDII cable and sw

So what your saying is that us OBDII LT1 guys CAN use tunercat just with the OBDII hardware?
 
They offer OBDII cable and sw..well they sold out to JET and stoped the OBDII cable but still offer sw for existing. I know away around getting the cable :). Also you can convert your to a OBDI easily and use the cheap stuff..hint hint

tunercat sold out to Jetchip and Yes the 96-97 obd2 PCM LT1 are supported. I Have a copy.I geuss I should amend this. they sold the OBD2 software to jet.
