LT1 rebuild -- where to go?

Starting to look around for a place to get my LT1 rebuilt. The only shop I've talked to so far is Livernois since I know a few of the people there, but I'd like to have other options. I'm located in Farmington Hills, but the car is currently in Allen Park/Dearborn (long story), so I'd prefer a shop relatively close to one of those areas. Also, it's a plus if they have experience with LT1s. Thanks!
 
Matt beat me to it. Beertstr does it out of his garage. He has built many Lt/L's motors for people with no problem I'm running a gen 1 small block that he put together, no problems at all.

If you are dead nuts on sticking with the LT1, talk to "Beertester" first. And as far as a engine rebuilders try "Michigan motor exchange".
