LSx headers

Looking for 1.75 - 1-7/8" LS1 Headers. Trying to see what's going to fit my 79 Caprice.. Please let me know what you have.

Mike- I have a brand new pair of Gibson headers for an LS engine in a 2003-2006 Chevy truck. I think they might be 1 3/4", I'll check. They're new in box still.

Are these long tubes or shorties? They the ones from UrDone4?

They are shorties, and yes those are the ones. I traded something for them, then didn't end up using them.

I've been looking at Mustang swap headers too. I would think that the 70-81 swap headers would work since the front suspensions are the same, and the subframe looks a LOT like a 77-96 B-car, but the #1 and #2 primary need to sweep back pretty aggressively. I'm trying to avoid ordering sets from Summit, and spending a bunch on return shipping when they don't fit..

I just started into building the rearend last night, and I have some frame boxing/notching, so I have a little more time. Before I need to start test fitting. I have my motor mount brackets made, just need to drop the mockup engine/trans onto the frame some time this week.

Do you have any Mustang Swap headers?
