So I recently bought a 2000 Formula, the intake on it has 12518572 stamped on it and it has 243 heads?I thought the 243's didn't come out until 01-02, the car was given SLP LT headers with egr provisions but they are blocked off with plates. The original owner's father (original owner passed away) said the car was never worked on, I'm not complaining about the head upgrade but I can't find any info on intake
 
That's awesome. It definitely shouldn't have those heads on it, even the later ones didn't have those. I'll try and check the number on my intake tomorrow and let you know.

Yeah let me know, I'm thinking the car has an LS6 top end and that would be awesome!! I didn't really pay attention when I first bought the car but I was bored tonight and started fooling around with it..noticed the 243 castings and was like WTF!!
 
Where is the number? I know the LS6 intake is flat on the bottom, but if it's on the car that won't help you.
 
does it have an egr port dead center of the throttle body runner at the front of the intake? I thought the LS6 manifolds were the ones that eliminated EGR

slp ls6 have the port. and non ls1 vettes dont have the port. must use the number or look at the bottom
