How does the oil drain work? Thinking about changing up my hot side to reduce heat under the hood

not 100% sure but I think they have an electric oil pump they use to pump it back to the pan,i remeber seeimg one on a f body rear mount system.i think it was an sts system

I use a cheap Harbor Freight pump it pumps oil from the turbo back into the oil pan most scavenge pumps will cost you $300 plus to do the same job as this one to be exact

No knocking you by any means, if it works for you then game on. But that pump, i have used for a few "i don't care" things, is a pile of shit. I've had a few fail within the first year with barely any use. Also the rubber impeller isn't exactly designed for oil. FOr me to not have my turbo fill with oil and eject a seal i'll spend 300.

Hey Im not mad at you at all what works for me may not be what works for you, just offering up an option. I know guys with high 4.xx Twin Turbo cars that run these pumps and say why spend the extra money if you dont have to. So Far My cheap ass HB Pump has Done me Major Justice

Good to know. I like alternative (cheap) solutions. I just didn't see that one coming!

you also wire in a buzzer so you know if its not pumping. guys got real pissed when they did not work and still oiled out their turbo.
