Looking for trans help.

I am looking for a trans shop in or around the Sterling heights area. The trans in question is a GM FWD 3 speed 125c hydramatic. Looking for someone that knows these tranny's inside and out that knows the little tricks into making it a brute transmission. I know parts for them are relatively cheap and I have rebuilt mine a few times using the off the shelf parts that I could get my hands on for less than 200 bucks, but I am willing to pay a fair price for a reliable power hungry trans.

If you or you know someone someplace let me know.

I would probably even travel out of state if the price is right and it's not too far.

Beigg, I'm unaware of any aftermarket parts for the 125 (that's not to say no body makes them) I done a few (20 years ago) for supercharged cars, but parts available were limited. A larger second gear servo(factory piece) raising the line pressure, increasing the direct clutch capacity by 1 clutch (no room for any more) and changes to the governor for wot up shifts were about all that could be done. Stamped out forward drum would crack from hp.
Any chance you can fit a 4t65e in the vehicle in place. Quite a few places offer aftermarket shafts/chain drives and differentials for 4t65e's, which greatly increase the hp capacity.

I could fit a 4t65E HD in there, but I don't have the budget for the fast controller or time to create mounts to make things work, let alone custom axles.
IF I really was going to swap in a trans, I'd shoot for the 4T80 transmission. I don't know though, do they even have a non E, 4t80??

So for now I just want to build with what I have and cross my fingers to hope for the best.

What kind of price range and warranty would you offer if you'd be willing to build up a 3t40 for me?
