We've got some scrap CMM machines at work that we need to get rid of. Theyre mostly steel with some aluminum. Anyone want to come pick them up or know someone that would? Haggerty Metals wants to charge us to come pick them up lol.

Im not exactly sure what machines are going yet but theyre all around the size of the one in the picture. 7ft tall and 3-5ft wide. I believe they will be broken down a little bit to make it easier to move.

They all weigh a couple thousand pounds give or take. We have a fork truck and will load them for you.

Sadly I hate to say it but you likely do need to pay someone to take them. If you give them away free to some random person and damage his trailer or he gets hurt loading them your company would likely be liable if the person so does choose to try to sue your company. You need to have someone who is licensed and insured and that costs money so the scrap value might not be enough for them to come pick them up without charging. Just a FYI/Coveryourass kind of thing.

That makes total sense. I know we've given scrap to scrappers that have been in the business park before. I could care less if we have to pay for someone to take it away (its not my money). I was just seeing if someone here wanted them or knew of someone that would want them before we do either pay or give them away to someone else.

HAHA Ill start the bidding at $20. JK

But you guys are more than welcome to the granite whenever they get the ok to be dismantled. There will be a couple machines being scrapped.
