As the title states, I'm looking for a good mechanic in the north east side of warren/fraser area. I have a few things I need done and with a new baby and working in retail I don't have the time to do it myself like I would prefer to do. I have some simple things I would like done like new clutch cable, quadrant, firewall adjuster, c-clip eliminators, pulley spacing issue, starter install, and some minor exhaust tweeking. I have most of the parts and would like to have them properly installed. The car is a 1991 hatch. There's a lot of shops around here but I want to know from you guys if there are any that are honest (i know that's asking a lot), professional, and basically not going to f my car up. I don't mind paying a little more.
I was planning on waiting till spring and taking it to Lidio, but figured I'd see if there's any closer shops.
