I am trying to find a couple of things for my car. I tried posting a new thread in the parts needed section. I couldn't post cuz I am a Noob? :dunno:

And I am not sure where I should be placing this thread? if this is not the right place I apologize in advance.

Anyway I am looking for a full size spare tire for a 2000 CV police intercepter anybody know where to find one for a good price?

Btw. 2000 stock tire is 16" am I correct?

The police don't change the size of the wheel do they? :dunno:

And I am also looking for the police bumper for the my car as well preferably used and cheap, where would I be able to find them?

And if I had to as a last resort where would I look to purchase new and aprox. @ what cost? :cheers:
 
AFAI the stock wheel is wider than a regular one. I think it's a 16x8. You should easily be able to find one at a place like Connie & Sons or Main Street Wheel or a junk yard.

Because your interested? I just bought the one I have, but if I can find a newer one for a similar price its quite possible. :dunno:

I am a little Rusty on Abbreviations: AFAI = as far as I know?? where is C & S and MSW? I have a friend @ the salvage yard, closed weekends haven't heard back yet. thanx. :cheers:
 
Yeah I missed the K on AFAIK but you have it right. C&S I think is in Royal Oak? Not sure about Main Street but they're in the same area. Maybe Ferndale or something.

www.crownvic.net I've been a member there for years and they are very helpful with technical stuff. Their parts section is pretty good too but they are nation wide so you might need to flip out some cash for shipping.
 
Well I found my Spare tire. :D Now I was wondering if anybody help me find a push bumper to fit my 2000 CV P71? :dunno: of course I would prefer used and cheap, but if that is not an option where do find a push bumper for a 2000 CV P71? I appreciate any assistance anybody can offer. thanx in advance. :cheers:
